Solstice Herbals is a creation of Bradley Capron, and is based out of McMinnville, Oregon. Mr. Capron is a licensed acupuncturist and well-trained herbalist, with clinical experience in many healing modalities, as well as the owner of Solstice Farm.
The farm is an important factor in the quality of the products offered on this site. All the herbs are organically grown on site, and in addition to medicinal plants, the farm has a gourmet vegetable business, and supplies many local restaurants and regional markets. The herbs are processed fresh, and since they are cultivated on site, the identification and quality are guaranteed. Farm visits are always welcome! About Solstice Herbals
Solstice Herbals is located inMcMinnville, the heart of the Oregon wine country. A range of techniques including biodynamic planting and harvesting schedules, organics, micronutrients, fungal and bacterial innoculants, foliar sprays, and active compost teas are used.
Plant Information
My gardening technique is a combination of organic and biodynamic techniques that I have learned through my work with other organic herb and vegetable farms, and plenty of trial and error on my own.
Processing Techniques
I create my tinctures using biodynamic grape spirits either through very low heat digestion, or a special reflux extractor (for water-soluble compounds, in particular). Often, a second batch of herbs is added to this extract.
